AC Hotel by Marriott Bloomington Mall of America

Had an amazing experience staying a weekend at this hotel. It was clean and well kept. The staff were very helpful and friendly. My family and I got amazing sleep on the beds. Which is not always the case at hotels. We loved the location in walking distance to the Mall of America. There are multiple options for eating. We are definitely going to be staying here again when we are looking at hotels in the area.

This hotel was beautiful, clean, and had friendly staff. The room does have a fridge, no in room microwave, but there’s one in the lobby area. The bathroom and shower were beautiful and comfortable. The only downside to the bathroom is that it has a sliding glass door with a gaping hole for the main door and no vent fan. I feel this made the bathroom lack privacy. I went with my family and I felt this feature made it not as family friendly for travel. I also did not care for the bed or pillows they were way too soft, but that’s a personal preference. Hence the 4 stars versus the 5 stars. Location was fantastic, it’s right across the street from Mall of America and IKEA. You could walk there if desired. There is complimentary coffee in the dining area in the morning, but no complimentary breakfast. You can pay for a buffet which we did not. There are 2 restaurants in the same parking lot so good options were nice. I liked this hotel and loved the location, but not as family friendly as I wanted it to be.

There’s already so much rave about the location and how nice the rooms are. I’m writing this to say that the customer service my fiancé and I experienced was top notch. I loved that everyone we spoke with even housekeeping were very delightful. As for the price, it was reasonable and definitely worth the price of admission. We will be staying again, thank you to the whole team.
